Introduction

BLIK is a convenient, mobile phone-based payment method which allows the customer to quickly generate a code via their banking app, which can then be used to make a payment.

Some of the main benefits of offering BLIK as a payment method are:

• Popularity: BLIK is the most popular payment method in Poland, with a 60% market share of all e-commerce payments
• Speed and ease of use: Customers can quickly and easily generate a payment code via app
• Security: Customers do not use a card, customers do not log in to their Bank, and customers confirm every payment in their banking app
• Get started quickly: There is no need for the merchant to have an account with BLIK

On the checkout page, the customer selects BLIK as their preferred payment method and inputs the code generated by the BLIK app.

User chooses the BLIK payment method in the terminal screen.	User is requested to enter their BLIK code.	User opens their banking app to retrieve the BLIK authorization code.	User enters the 6-digit code in the terminal screen.	User clicks the "Continue" button to finalize the payment.	User is redirected to the payment result screen.

• Payment method type: Asynchronous - payments are not confirmed immediately, it may take up to 55 seconds to receive confirmation of payment. You need to set up webhooks in order to get notified for asynchronous payments
• Refunds: Supports partial and full refunds
• Recurring payments: Not yet supported
• Pre-authorizations: Not yet supported
• Μerchant countries: Available for merchants registered in Poland only
• Customer countries: Available to customers in Poland only
• Pricing: Please refer to our pricing page under the main navigation for more information
• Settlement: Customer payments are deposited next day into your business account for confirmed payments / successful transactions (i.e. have statusId = F)
• Cross-currency payments: Not yet supported
• Additional notes: The Email address and Customer Name fields within Smart Checkout are optional
• ISV: Supports ISV Program
